I'm sure that you already tried to fill your bicycle tires with a hand pump. Do you remember if the tire valve and the pump were hot or cold when you finished? Why? Now, imagine that instead of a hand pump you use an air compressor. The air container cools or warms up? And the valve? Why? If you know the answer, sends it by e-mail to Science at Home.
